My truck's PCM code has 19 tunes available for use.ġ000-1500RPM Hi-Idle, 25-40-60 HP tow, 40-60-80 HP DD, 100-120-140 HP Performance, along with tunes like 65HP Fuel sipper, "whisper mode", and no startĪll of these tunes have a "Modified intake" variant, for people who have modified the intake of the truck or put a different intake wheel on the turbo. IF you have a small amount of tunes, you can call or email PHP and they will write you the standard tunes for your PCM code at no extra charge. Depending on your PCM code, you can get 3, or you can get upwards of 20.
With the Hydra, you are given access to PHP's complete library of standard tunes for the 7.3. For $400, You get the tuner chip, the tune selector, a data cord/port combo that plugs from the chip and into your computer (you will see why) and the programming neccesary to run your tuner. I heard alot of good things about PHP and decided to order one of their more popular tunes, the Hydra So I decided it was time to splurge and treat my truck. It was running like shit and weirdly, blowing ICP sensors. I was having an issue with my DP tuner on my 2001 7.3.
